This Wednesday (on March 23, 2011),
CDNetworks, which is highest performing global content delivery network (CDN),
announced that it will offer free website delivery to the Japanese Government and the other non-government organizations that work for providing relief to the Japan’s earthquake crisis.
The earthquake in Japan had not only rendered many websites losing control due to infrastructure unavailability, but also some of these websites went down due to the huge amounts of traffic that tried to get more information about the situation. To support these websites in reaching out to more people and effectively providing information about relief, CDNetworks has decided to provide its services for these websites to remain up and running. This is part of CDNetworks effort to help the recovery effort from the aftermath of the Japanese earthquake.
For availing support of CDNetworks’ global CDN, the Government and NGO personnel just need to contact the CDNetworks’ Japan Office in Tokyo, and the CDN provider would help in taking care of the rest of the information to provide high performance and scalable content delivery.
