GoGrid Adds EMEA HQ and Data Center at Amsterdam
This Wednesday (on January 25, 2012), GoGrid, one of the leading providers of cloud-based infrastructure services, announced that it had added its EMEA headquarters, GoGrid AMS BV at Amsterdam. Apart from this, GoGrid also added an Equinix-based data center in Amsterdam to support its EMEA network reach and expand further.
GoGrid mentioned that it already had network reach in San Francisco, CA and Ashburn, VA, and since it had a lot of international clients, expanding into the EMEA region made a lot of business sense, thus pushing the Company further on its way to become a global acceleration services provider. The new Data Center in Amsterdam would leverage Equinix’s marketplace of more than 680 network providers and would allow GoGrid to also sell its cloud solutions to more than 4000 equinix participants.
The Company mentioned that it had performed extremely well in 2011, and expected to grow further in 2012 by expanding into the EMEA markets owing to its new Data Center and Head Quarters in the EMEA region.
