
Yesterday (on December 18, 2011), HostColor.com, one of the leading providers of web hosting services in US and Europe,
announced that it is working towards adding various Content Delivery Network services to its shared hosting plans, so that its customers not only have faster websites, but also the server load on the webhost remains low.
As of now, Host Color has already implemented and deployed the free CDN offering of CloudFlare and the Company has mentioned that it will be adding a couple more Content Delivery Network providers, so that its customers can choose between 3 CDN Companies. Host Color also mentioned that using of CloudFlare CDN will help the hosting provider in securing its customers’ websites against attacks, alert the visitors’ whose computers are infected and also leverage the 14 data centers of the latter for faster website loading.
Host Color mentioned that it was happy with how CloudFlare was performing for its customers, and also mentioned that they will add 2 more similar services in Q1 and Q2 of 2012.
