Level 3 to Provide High-Speed Internet Connectivity to Voxility

This Tuesday (on May 15, 2012), Level 3 Communications, the leading provider of fiber-based communication and network services, announced that it had entered into a multi-year contract with Voxility, the Europe-based content provider, and as part of this deal, it will provide Voxility with more than 250Gbps connectivity for its 3 major data centers in Europe and North America.

Voxility mentioned that the Company was expanding and needed additional network capacity to provide high performance during delivery of video and content to its customers, and thus wanted a cloud provider, which would optimize the content using the shortest path. The Company set forth a competitive bid process, and that is where with its competitive pricing and extremely proven high-speed IP service was selected to provide the required scalability and performance for Voxility’s customers.

At its end, Level 3 mentioned that it was happy with the deal and that leveraging its services would allow Voxility to have unparalleled scalability, thus ensuring that its global expansion plans go ahead without any hitch.
