Limelight Networks Announces Enhancements to its Content Management and Video Suite

Today (on May 22, 2012), Limelight Networks, the leading provider of innovative website optimizers, content management and video streaming solutions, announced that it had added several enhancements like ability to publish videos across multiple online and mobile websites in its integrated Limelight Video Platform (LVP) and Limelight Dynamic Site Platform (LDSP) offerings.

The integrated LDSP interface will also allow customers to combine video and web content from a single control panel, allow editing of metadata of the video content, associate the rich media content with text, images and documents and also set permissions to video assets and video channels. Apart from this, the new capabilities also include addition of multiple videos into single or multiple channels and seamless publishing and reuse of the video assets across multiple websites and mobile sites. The combined suite also includes Limelight Accelerate, Limelight Reach Video, Limelight Reach Ads and Limelight Deliver, which all work on Limelight’s global computing platform to deliver high performance to its clients.

Limelight Networks mentioned that it was happy with the added capabilities and these will be demonstrated from May 22-24 at the SiriusDecisions Summit in Arizona.
