Mirror Image Internet, which is one of the leading providers of Content Delivery Network services,
announced the launch of the Beta version of its new Live Stream Recording and Playback services. This new service will allow the customers of Mirror Image Internet to both have a Live-streaming and simultaneous recording of the content in various formats for all types of screens.
When a user leverages the globally distributed Video-on-Demand storage of Mirror Image Internet, the content is recorded to a local disk during the live event, and within 15 minutes of the event’s completion, the record stream is made available on the VoD Storage around the globe. Moreover, the Company encodes and provides the content in a variety of formats including H.264, Flash, SilverLight, iOS, Blackberry and Android platforms, thus catering to the needs of PCs, tablet devices and smart phones alike.
Mirror Image Internet has also announced that while the program is currently in Beta, the customers who opt for the service during the beta will be eligible for a special promotional rate once the solution is productized.
