NetDNA Leverages FastSoft to SpeedUp its CDN
This Monday (on August 8, 2011), FastSoft, the spun out of California Institute of Technology that creates solutions to speed up Internet, announced that one of the fastest growing Content Delivery Networks, NetDNA LLC, had selected its E-series origin content acceleration (OCA) appliances to speed up the content delivery speed of the later.
NetDNA wanted to improve the performance of its customers further and the installation of the E-series is expected to increase the reach of the Edge locations of NetDNA and provide an efficient infrastructure, thus improving the overall load times. The OCA augments the CDNs and the front-end optimization (FEO) technology to provide an end-to-end performance optimization solution for the delivery of dynamic and non-cacheable content from the origin servers.
NetDNA mentioned that since it already specializes in static content delivery, the addition of the dynamic content accelerators has allowed it to provide further noticeable and measurable improvements to its customers.
