
Last Friday (on July 16, 2010),
NetDNA, which is one of the upcoming and popular Content Delivery Network providers, announced its decision to use Wowza Media Server 2 platform for both its major brands,
MaxCDN and
HDDN.com. This solution is expected to provide much faster browsing in terms of audio and video content by making use of Wowza’s unified delivery platform.
While it is among the newer players in the CDN industry, NetDNA has already got a variety of innovative solutions from dedicated media servers to pseudo streaming and the latest HDDN video streaming development is expected to speed-up the high quality media streaming further. The highly scalable Wowza Media Server 2 solution will also aid to this cause further by providing the last mile CDN coverage to ensure faster buffering for ever expanding MaxCDN network.
Apart from this, various other solutions can use NetDNA Anycast Network for smarter packet routing and communicate with the NetDNA and Wowza Media servers by their respective APIs to speed up their high definition media streaming.
