Last Friday (on April 27, 2012), NTT Communications Corporation, one of the global leaders in Information and Communication Technology services and global network reach, announced the official inauguration of its Serangoon Data Center in Singapore and Cyberjaya 3 Data Center in Malaysia, thus showing the Company’s growth and reach in the Asia Pacific region.
The Singapore Serangoon Data Center is a Tier-III+ data center, which will offer colocation and cloud services along with the other network solutions that NTT offers, while the Malaysia Cyberjaya 3 Data Center is aimed at providing remote backup and storage solutions to the Company’s customers. Moreover, the Singapore data center is also connected with NTT’s undersea Asia Submarine-cable Express, thus allowing the Company to provide extremely low latency and high speed connections to the financial, information technology and manufacturing businesses in the region.
At its end, NTT mentioned that it was pleased to add these Asia Pacific facilities and stated that while the Singapore data center was ready to go live in February, the Malaysia data center also started its operation from April 26, 2012.
