Saint Francis High School Uses BitGravity to Stream Sporting Events
This Thursday (on November 4, 2010), the Mountain-View based Saint Francis High School and BitGravity, the world’s first and only Content Delivery Network built to deliver live HD and SD content, announced that the school will be using BitGravity’s BG Live live-streaming solution to provide live streaming of its home athletic events in HD-quality.
As a part of this integration, the students will be working to setup the product, install the various cameras and work towards ensuring proper streaming happens. The students will also have a 12 week-course, where they will work on video production, editing, and incorporating the BG Live into production. In other course, they would learn how to use the latest professional-level photography and video editing software, which makes this integration a live corporate learning and thus highly enriching experience for the students.
The fall season streaming lineup includes football, water polo, volleyball and field hockey among other games; and both BitGravity and Saint Francis High School are happy with this symbiotic relationship, which will not only help the students in learning about BitGravity, but also help them in reaching out to others with the help of BG Live.
