Today (on January 30, 2012), GoGrid, one of the leading providers of managed and cloud-based hosting solutions and content optimization services, announced that Condé Nast Digital Germany, one of the leading German magazines publishers, is leveraging the GoGrid hybrid architecture for providing high-speed and reliable browsing experience to its website audience.
Actually, first Condé Nast Digital Germany, just moved one of its publications, Glamour, to the hybrid architecture of GoGrid, and then impressed by the performance and the amount of data security provided by GoGrid, the publisher moved its other top titles including GQ and Vogue to GoGrid as well. Condé Nast Digital Germany mentioned that it was extremely sensitive about the data security issue, and with its dedicated machines that natively run MySQL and extremely stringent data security practices, GoGrid’s hybrid model became the best choice for it.
Condé Nast Digital Germany also mentioned that moving to GoGrid gave it huge amount of scalability and also reduced their infrastructure costs drastically. The Compay mentioned that it was planning on moving a fourth publication, Myself to GoGrid’s infrastructure in the near future.

Today (on January 23, 2012), Jet-Stream, the award winning market leader in Content Delivery Networks and Saguna Networks, one of the leading providers in Radio Access Network (RAN) application acceleration, announced that they will be entering into a strategic alliance for providing various solutions and offerings for creating content delivery networks for mobile devices.
As part of this offering, the Companies are combining the Saguna CODS from Saguna Networks and the VideoExchange Content Delivery Network technology of Jet-Stream to provide the customers with a solution that can integrate their RAN infrastructure with the scalable and reliable global network of Jet-Stream. Apart from this, the mobile operators can also leverage this solution to stream OTT content and also monetize it by reaching out much faster to a larger audience, thanks to the approach of leveraging the federated CDN.
Both Saguna Networks and Jet-Stream were happy with the collaboration and mentioned that they would showcase the unified offering in February end at the Mobile World Congress, Barcelona.

Recently, Verizon, one of the leading providers of bundled solutions like wireless devices, TV, Internet and businesses, announced that it is working on a streaming video content delivery solution and video advertising platform for its customers. The solution is actually a Verizon-powered Content Delivery Network aimed at the enterprise customers of Verizon.

The Company also leverages its internal backbone that has a capacity between 40-100 Gbps, has deployed 30 data centers around the globe, owing to which its customers can stream and manage data at extremely fast speeds.

This Friday (on January 13, 2012), ChinaCache, the largest Content Delivery Network provider based in China, announced that it was selected to help support the online rush during the third round of pre-sales for the Xiaomi smart phones, which have been launched by Xiaomi Technology Company, one of the leading providers of smart phones in China.
Xiaomi mentioned that it was expecting a huge surge in traffic on the day it would open the pre-sales and needed a good and reliable CDN to manage that spike and also support security of the online payments and that is where with its advanced global CDN services, managed IDC resources and cloud computing solutions, ChinaCache helped them. The Company mentioned that using the global network of ChinaCache, Xiaomi was able to support the order of more than 500 thousand smart phones that came in on the pre-launch day.
At its end, ChinaCache mentioned that it was extremely happy to support Xiaomi manage its traffic spikes better and it would continue to support the smart phone provider with its services in the future.

Yesterday (on December 19, 2011), Aryaka, the world’s first provider of cloud-based WAN optimizations and application acceleration services, announced that 2011 had been a great year for the Company and it had not only built a stable and scalable solution, but also got a growing customer base for its secure global network solutions.

Today (on December 19, 2011), VidScale, one of the leading providers of Content Delivery Network services and other bandwidth optimization solutions, announced that Avail-TVN, the leading provider of digital media services in North America, had selected its CDN and transparent caching solution for creating its AnyView multi-screen, multiplatform offering.

Yesterday (on December 14, 2011), ChinaCache, the leading provider of Content Delivery Network services in China, announced that Shanghai branch of China Telecom Corporation Ltd, or Shanghai Telecom will be leveraging its acceleration services and solutions to provide high performance and better quality of service to its end-users.

Yesterday (on December 13, 2011), Internap Network Services Corporation, one of the leading providers of intelligent and scalable infrastructure solutions, announced that its new 55,000 square feet commercial space providing Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Data Center located in Plano, Texas, will be officially opened on December 15, 2011 (i.e. tomorrow).
The new Data Center not only uses the modular power configurations of up to 12KW per rack and follows amongst the best green designs and energy efficient solutions, which has also led to the Data Center’s applying for LEED, Green Globes and Energy Star Certifications. Internap mentioned that with the businesses growing in DFW area, the current data center space was expected to get exhausted by 2013 and the new Data Center is expected to provide buffer to this growth by providing managed hosting, colocation as well as Internap’s patented MIRO route-optimized Performance IP services.
Internap mentioned that it will have an official open house tomorrow between 4PM to 7PM CT, and Roger Staubach will make a special guest appearance at the inauguration event.
