Verivue Adds Transparent Caching to OneVantage CDN

Yesterday (on November 15, 2011), Verivue Inc., one of the leading providers and innovators of Cotnent Delivery solutions, announced that it had added a software add-on to support Transparent Caching and Over-the-top content to its OneVantage Content Delivery Network solution, thus making it the first unified solution that supports CDN and transparent caching.

The addition of Transparent Caching will allow Verivue to intercept, ingest and serve the content without the end customer’s need to manually cache it, thus reducing the load of traffic on the customers’ networks and improve the Quality of Experience by leveraging the CDN. The unified solution also streamlines the delivery of the content and largely reduces the network infrastructure and bandwidth costs, since it works much better as compared to a combination of different discrete solutions that are difficult to manage along with the CDN.

Verivue mentioned that its OneVantage Transparent Internet Cache option was already made available to general public, and customers can avail the new offering from either Verivue, or contact one of the many certified Verivue resellers.
