Yottaa Gets 9 Million USD as Series B Funding

Today (on May 22, 2012), Yottaa Inc., the leading provider of web, mobile and cloud optimization services, announced that it has closed $ 9 million in Series B funding. The investors included all existing investors like General Catalyst Partners, Stata Venture Partners and Cambridge West Ventures and various other undisclosed investors also participated in this round of funding.

Ever since the launch of its Yottaa Site Speed Optimizer in October 2011, the Company has served more than 100 million unique visitors per month. Apart from this, Yottaa has already been awarded a couple patents in web performance optimization and front-end optimization, and the Company’s Mobile Acceleration and Content Acceleration solutions are growing at a brisk pace. The Company also mentioned that its accelerated websites were visited by more than 5 percent of the Internet population in the last one month, and the accelerator had improved the website performances and conversions by as much as 600% and 30% respectively.

Yottaa mentioned that it was happy with the trust that the investors have in the Company and this newly infused capital is expected to help the Company in expanding and improving its suite of web optimization and security offerings.
