wowza-previewThis Wednesday (on June 19, 2013), Wowza Media Systems, the leading provider of the streaming media server software solutions, announced that the Company had opened a new office at Mountain View, California, and that the Company had recently more than doubled its head count to continue to expand the Company further.

Backed with the fast growing revenue and the success of its Wowza Media Server solution, which now boasts of more than 30 thousand global licenses across 150+ countries, Wowza Media Systems felt the need to expand its presence in the Silicon Valley region, and hence the new facility was brought up. Apart from getting access to talent pool around the Silicon Valley region, the strategic location of new office is also expected to improve Wowza’s business networks further, thus ensuring its accelerated growth.

At its end, Wowza mentioned that over the next few months it will focus at hiring many more employees ranging from developers, web technologists and sales representatives to even senior product and project managers for its new Silicon Valley office.
